How to Use Shikakai Powder for Hair

Shikakai as a Natural Shampoo

Mix 2-3 tablespoons of Shikakai powder with warm water to form a smooth paste.
Optional: Add a tablespoon of amla or Aritha powder for enhanced cleansing and nourishment.

Application:
2. Wet your hair and apply the paste to your scalp and hair, massaging gently in circular motions.
Ensure the paste covers the entire scalp and hair length.

Leave On:
3. Allow the paste to sit for 5-10 minutes to cleanse the hair and scalp.


Rinse:
4. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. You may need to rinse several times to remove all the paste.

Shikakai Hair Mask for Conditioning
Prepare the Mask:


1. Mix 2-3 tablespoons of Shikakai powder with yoghurt, aloe vera gel, or coconut oil to form a thick paste.
Optional: Add 1 teaspoon of honey and Amla & Aritha powder for added moisture.

Application:
